How to resolve the ambiguity error when using both DocIO.Base and DocIO.Web?

This error occurs because of ambiguity between the assemblies. This problem can be solved by referring DocIO.Base alone in the application instead of referring both DocIO.Base and DocIO.Web
Previously DocIO.Web was used as dummy reference. With the latest versions of Essential® DocIO, we have implemented Medium Trust support in DocIO.Web
