How to predict the double-click event on a tree node in Angular TreeView?

4 mins read

The following steps used to predict the double click event on the tree node for the Angular TreeView component.

Step 1: Implement theTreeView component using our Getting Started documentation.

Step 2 To capture the double-click event of the TreeView component, you can utilize the nodeClicked event.

Step 3 The double click event will be captured when the argument args.event.detail is equal to two.

[app.component.html]

<ejs-treeview

    id="default"

    #tree

    [fields]="field"

    (nodeClicked)="nodeClickHandler($event)"

></ejs-treeview>

[app.component.ts]

@ViewChild('tree') tree: TreeViewComponent;

public nodeClickHandler(args: NodeClickEventArgs) {

    // checks whether the click is double clicked

  if (args.event.detail == 2) {

        console.log('doubleClicked');

    }

}
