How to prevent the connector segment from collapsing while dragging a node in WPF Diagram (SfDiagram) ?

2 mins read

In the WPF Diagram, you can prevent the connector segment from collapsing while dragging a node, you can use the SelectorChanged event. We have prepared a simple sample to achieve this. In this example, We have checked the Node’s position by comparing its OffsetX and OffsetY values based on the InteractionState property of the SelectorChanged event. If so, it retrieves the first connector linked to the node and calculates its length. If the new connector length, adjusted for movement, is below 51, the segment node’s position is reset to its original coordinates. This restricts node movement, ensuring that connected lines do not become too short.
