How to modify the Save and Open commands in both the Quick Access Toolbar and the Backstage items of the SfDiagramRibbon control?

2 mins read

In the WPF Diagram Ribbon, we can’t directly override the Save and Open options in both the Quick Access Toolbar and Backstage items. We need to create new Quick Access Toolbar and Backstage items to override the Save and Open options.

We have provided the code example for how to achieve this.

Code Snippet :

private void SfDiagramRibbon_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
   // This code is to get the Ribbon which is used in the ControlTemplate of the SfDiagramRibbon Control.
   Ribbon InnerRibbon = DiagramRibbon.Template.FindName("Part_Ribbon", this.DiagramRibbon) as Ribbon;

   RibbonButton NewRibbonButton = new RibbonButton();
   QuickAccessToolBar QAT = new QuickAccessToolBar();
   QAT.Items.Add(NewRibbonButton);
   InnerRibbon.QuickAccessToolBar = QAT;
}
