How to Customize Palette Search Box Holder in JavaScript Diagram?

This article explains how to customize the palette search box placeholder in a JavaScript diagram. We can add a search box for the symbol palette in our Syncfusion® JavaScript Diagram. By default, the search box placeholder will be “Search symbol.” To change the placeholder value of the symbol palette, you can achieve it by accessing the search box element of the symbol palette and updating its placeholder text within the created event of the diagram.

var palette = new SymbolPalette({
       palettes: palettes,
       width: '100%', height: '100%', symbolHeight: 50, symbolWidth: 50,
       enableSearch: true,
   });

var diagram = new Diagram({
       width: '100%', height: '500px',
       connectors: connectors, nodes: nodes,
       created: created,
   });

function created() {
       // textEnter is the common ID for the symbol palette search box
       var searchBox = document.getElementById('textEnter');
       searchBox.placeholder = 'Custom placeholder';
   }
