How to check the connection status of a ConnectionPoint (Port) in the Windows Forms Diagram?

1 min read

In our WinForms Diagram control, you can check the connection status of a ConnectionPoint using the Connections.IsEmpty property. If Connections.IsEmpty is false, it means that some connectors are connected to the ConnectionPoint. You can also determine the number of connections associated with the ConnectionPoint using the Connections.Count property. We have provided the code snippet to achieve this.

Code Snippet:

System.Windows.Forms.Label label1 = new System.Windows.Forms.Label();
System.Windows.Forms.Label label2 = new System.Windows.Forms.Label();
ConnectionPoint conn = diagram1.Model.Nodes[0].Ports[0];
label1.Text = "Connection Count :" + conn.Connections.Count.ToString();
label2.Text = "IsEmpty ? :" + conn.Connections.IsEmpty.ToString();
