Create custom painted nodes
Custom painted nodes can be created by subscribing to the paint events of TreeViewAdv.To get the event fired, we need to use OwnerDrawNodes property. Then, we could apply any graphics style to nodes in BeforeNodePaint event.
C#
// Creating custom painted nodes private void treeViewAdv1_BeforeNodePaint(object sender, Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Tools.TreeNodeAdvPaintEventArgs e) { LinearGradientBrush lBrush = new LinearGradientBrush(e.Node.TextBounds, Color.Gold, Color.Beige, LinearGradientMode.Horizontal); e.Graphics.FillRectangle(lBrush, e.Node.TextBounds); e.Graphics.DrawRectangle(new Pen(Color.Red), e.Node.TextBounds); }
VB
' Creating custom painted nodes Private Sub TreeViewAdv1_BeforeNodePaint(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Tools.TreeNodeAdvPaintEventArgs) Handles TreeViewAdv1.BeforeNodePaint Dim lBrush As LinearGradientBrush lBrush = New LinearGradientBrush(e.Node.TextBounds, Color.Gold, Color.Beige, LinearGradientMode.Horizontal) e.Graphics.FillRectangle(lBrush, e.Node.TextBounds) e.Graphics.DrawRectangle(New Pen(Color.Red), e.Node.TextBounds) End Sub
