Configure\Reconfigure the Visual Studio toolbox with Syncfusion controls
Before configuring the Visual Studio 2010 toolbox, please ensure that the necessary Syncfusion framework assemblies are installed on your machine. Follow the below location to find the Syncfusion assemblies:
[Syncfusion Installed Path]\assemblies\4.0
Before configuring the toolbox, you need to close all Visual Studio applications.
Follow the steps below to configure the toolbox:
Open the Dashboard from this location:
Start ->Programs ->Syncfusion ->Essential Studio x.x.x.x ->Dashboard
Configure the Visual Studio .NET toolbox under Toolbox Configuration in the Dashboard, shown below.
The following options are available under Toolbox Configuration:
Install VS2010 - Configures framework 4.0 Syncfusion controls in the VS 2010 toolbox.
Install VS2005 Controls in VS2010 - Configures framework 2.0 Syncfusion controls in the VS 2010 toolbox.
Install VS2008 Controls in VS2010 - Configures framework 3.5 Syncfusion controls in the VS 2010 toolbox.
If you encounter the error message depicted below, follow the instructions below the image.
Run the Syncfusion Assembly Manager to install the Syncfusion assemblies in the GAC and also in the assemblies folder. Then reconfigure the corresponding framework version assemblies in the Visual Studio toolbox.
