How custom colors can be added to the workbook's color palette?

1 min read

XlsIO has support for adding new colors to the color palette that are not found in the standard MS Excel color palette using the SetPaletteColor method. In this, we need to specify the index of the color in the palette you need to change and the new color name.

C#

workbook.SetPaletteColor( index, Color value );

VB

workbook.SetPaletteColor(index, Color value)

Here is the sample for your reference:

Take a moment to peruse the documentation where you can find basic Excel document processing options along with the features like import and export data, chart, formulas, conditional formatting, data validation, tables, pivot tables and protect the Excel documents, and most importantly, the PDF, CSV and Image conversions with code examples.
