Why the "type initializer exception" thrown in WinForms XLSIO?

1 min read

This error occurs when missing the Syncfusion.Compression.Base.dll assembly. While running the application in a production server, the following assemblies should be in the bin folder and also all the assemblies must in the same version.

  • Syncfusion.Core.dll
  • Syncfusion.Compression.Base.dll
  • Syncfusion.XlSIO.Base.dll

In-order to deploy the application the above assemblies should be in the GAC and public assemblies.
