How to resolve the ToolBox configuration issue?
After the Syncfusion Essential Studio® is installed, the Syncfusion ToolBox controls are automatically configured in the Visual Studio. In some cases, the ToolBox is not configured in the Visual Studio ToolBox. The following cases explain how to resolve the ToolBox configuration issues.
Case 1: The Syncfusion Essential Studio® installed before installing the Visual Studio
When the Syncfusion Essential Studio® is installed before installing the Visual Studio, then the Syncfusion controls are not configured automatically. In that case, click the Recheck option located at the bottom of the corresponding version of the Syncfusion Dashboard and then run the Toolbox Installer utility from the Dashboard.

Case 2: The Syncfusion Essential Studio® installed after the Visual Studio installed
When the Syncfusion Essential Studio® is installed after the installation of the Visual Studio and the Syncfusion ToolBox controls are not configured, then the following steps helps resolve the issue.
- Close all the Visual Studio Running instances.
- Remove the hidden *.tbd files except the toolbox.tbd from the following locations.

- Reopen the Visual Studio Environment.
Now, the Syncfusion ToolBox controls are configured in the Visual Studio ToolBox.
I followed these steps. Visual Studio 2017 on Windows 10 home. did not work. Still no controls. Disappeared after Visual Studio was updated to 15.4 if that helps. Targeting 4.6 framework
Additionally, troubleshooter states that there are no issues.
Same thing for me, can't get syncfusion to populate the toolbox with the syncfusion folders of controls after deletion of *.tbd files and using syncfusion control panel toolbox installer to attempt installation into toolbox. No controls in toolbox. Window 10 Pro (Creators), Visual Studio 15.4.4 (new install), syncfusion V 15.4.0.17 installed after visual studio installation.
