4 mins read

You can get the current page number while scrolling by using the CurrentPageChanged event in WPF PDFViewer control.

In the below code snippet, the pagenumberTxtbox is updated by the current page in view.

C#

private void Window_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
    pdfviewer1.CurrentPageChanged += pdfviewer1_CurrentPageChanged;
    pdfviewer1.Load("../../Data/GIS Succinctly.pdf");
}

void pdfviewer1_CurrentPageChanged(object sender, EventArgs args)
{
    pagenumberTxtbox.Text = (sender as PdfDocumentView).CurrentPageIndex.ToString();
}
