How to display RowIndex at RowHeaderCell in SfDataGrid in Xamarin?

3 mins read

SfDataGrid allows you to customize the content inside the row header using the RowHeaderTemplate. It allows you to load any view inside the row header.

Please refer the below code example in which a Label is loaded inside the row header using DataTemplate.

<sfgrid:SfDataGrid x:Name="dataGrid"
                    ItemsSource="{Binding OrdersInfo}">
      <Label Text="{Binding Index}" HorizontalTextAlignment = "Center" VerticalTextAlignment = "Center" />

private void DataGrid_AutoGeneratingColumn(object sender, AutoGeneratingColumnArgs e)
    if (e.Column.MappingName == "Index")
        e.Cancel = true;
