How to resolve SfGauge not rendering issue in Xamarin.Forms for iOS DigitalGauge ?

1 min read

Xamarin does not load the iOS renderer assemblies by default in Xamarin.Forms. So, to solve this, you have to manually load it by creating an instance of SfGaugeRenderer class in the respective projects as mentioned below.

iOS Project

Create an instance of SfGaugeRenderer in FinishedLaunching overridden method of AppDelegate class in iOS Project as shown below,

    public override bool FinishedLaunching(UIApplication app, NSDictionary options)
            //Before assemblies please use the below renderers
            new SfGaugeRenderer();        // For CircularGauge
            new SfLinearGaugeRenderer (); // For LinearGauge
            new SfDigitalGaugeRenderer ();// For DigitalGauge
             //After assemblies please use the below renderers
            return base.FinishedLaunching(app, options);
