How to set logarithmic scale for Excel chart in C#, VB.NET?
This article explains how to set logarithmic scale to chart axis using XlsIO.
Set logarithmic scale to chart axis
Excel defaults to a linear scale for charts, but you can easily change it to logarithmic to suit wide data ranges or logarithmic phenomena. This can be achieved in XlsIO using IsLogScale property. The below images show differences between with and without logarithmic scale in value axis.
Chart value axis with logarithmic scale
Chart value axis without logarithmic scale
Code snippet to set logarithmic scale to chart axis
//Set logarithmic scale to primary value axis chart.PrimaryValueAxis.IsLogScale = true;
To know more about creating charts with various settings using XlsIO, please refer the documentation.
The following C#/ VB.NET complete code snippet shows how to set logarithmic scale to chart axis using XlsIO.
C#
