Export DataTable to Excel with formatting in C#, VB.NET

Syncfusion Excel (XlsIO) library is a .NET Excel library used to create, read, and edit Excel documents. Also, converts Excel documents to PDF files. Using this library, you can start importing or exporting data between worksheet and DataTable in C# and VB.NET.

DataTable is a memory representation of database with collection of rows and columns. Data in an existing worksheet can also be exported to data tables and CLR objects.

Syncfusion Excel (XlsIO) library supports exporting DataTable to Excel worksheet using ImportDataTable. To achieve this, first you need to load data into DataTable instance and the loaded table can be exported to Excel worksheet.

ImportDataTable feature will export DataTable to Excel with formatting. For example, if the string type contains ‘%’,’$’,’Date’, etc., gets exported with respective formatting applied on the cell.

Steps to export DataTable to Excel with formatting, programmatically:

Step 1: Create a new C# console application project.
