Administrative Groups of Report Server and User Management Server

5 mins read

A common IDP called User Management Server (UMS) is used as a separate application for managing all users and groups. It also facilitates you adding various applications within it under application management. Permissions to access these applications for users and groups are also managed. All the applications linked with the User Management Server uses common users and groups efficiently with the support of Single Sign-On (SSO). Multiple applications are organized under a single structure of unit with a common set of users and groups.

Report Server (DS) also uses the User Management Server for its user and group management. This article explains the administrative user or group information of both the Report Server and User Management Server in different scenarios.
