What is Rich Text Editor?

A Rich Text Editor is an editor tool used in an application and webpages, which provides interface for creating and formatting the rich text content. The editor allows the users to experience the real time preview of the work while editing in the content editable area. Hence, it is also referred as WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor.
