How to get Community License and install it?

Overview

Community License provides free access to all the Essential Studio products for individual developers and small businesses. Community License includes all the products available in Essential Studio Enterprise Edition with Support and Updates. You can check out the more details about our Community License here. How do I get the Community License?

Step 1: Go to the Community License download link. If you are not logged in with a Syncfusion account, then you will be redirected to the login page. After logging in, you will be redirected to the Community License download page.

Step 2: Fill out the Community License validation form.

Once you have submitted the Community License validation form, the following confirmation popup will be displayed:

You will receive a seven-day license key with a link to the Essential Studio setup installer in your email.

Once we have received your application and created the corresponding ticket, we will validate your request within 48 hours and respond with the status of your request.

If the Community License request is approved on our side then you will receive the following email:

You can find your license on the License and Downloads page.

Step 3: You can download the latest version setup by clicking the Download button.

If you want to download the latest version of a specific platform, click the More Download Options link.

If you want to download the setups for older versions, click the Download Older Versions link. You will be redirected to the page that lists all the versions where you can download the setup for your preferred version.

If your Community License request is rejected, you can use the 30-day free trial license on the Trial Download & Keys page.

Note:

If you try to create another ticket regarding the Community License, the following message will be displayed, including a link to your previous ticket. You can create only one ticket for a Community License request.

For Web Installers

To install web installer, please follow the steps explained in this documentation.

For Offline Installers

To install offline installer, please follow the steps explained in this documentation.

Note:

Please use your Syncfusion account login credentials for both web and offline installers.

Unlock key generation

For generating the Unlock keys for the setups, please follow the steps explained in this KB article.

License key generation

License keys are applicable for setups from version v16.2 and above. Please follow the steps in this KB article to generate the license keys for your desired version and setups.
